Experienced fosters and adopters selected for their extraordinary prior contributions in both categories, Noel and Liana first took Bear into their home as a foster. A few days later, during his first visit to the vet, he suffered a life-threatening severe reaction to a vaccine which required immediate ER care and a vigilant overnight watch by his new foster family. After nursing Bear through that medical scare, a little less than a month later, they once again helped him recover from needed care – this time the neutering planned when he was placed in foster care. Shortly after that, Noel and Liana made their love and commitment to Bear’s long-term well-being official by adopting him as a new family member. A foster-to-adopter rescue story happy ending for Bear, and a great example of the Success Stories NWR donations and people like Noel and Liana make possible!
