Are all dogs rescued purebred Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers?

NWR does not accept mixed breed dogs for rescue because its mission is specific to Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers.

American Kennel Club registration numbers are requested when a dog is relinquished to NWR but some purebred Wheatens do not have AKC registration or the owner cannot verify that, so NWR does not guarantee AKC registration.
